Lynne contacted me a few weeks back about doing a portrait shoot. She told me that she wanted to give her boyfriend a few pictures. It was a perfect excuse to indulge and treat herself to something special. She arrived with a lot of energy and was a delight to get to know. We had a good time, listened to some great music, she danced some, and we ended up with pictures that I think we can both be proud of.

Lynne said: Jay, this photo session was so much fun! After a little initial stiffness, I got loose as a goose dancing to your studio sounds of David Bowie, the Doors and the Stones--result: my own personal Gap ads! It was a stroke of genius to go to the garage at Union Station for the final shots on such a rainy, gray day. The roughness of the concrete combined with the moody natural light really gave us some interesting shots. All in all, it was a terrific experience; now I have a beautiful, artistic portfolio of what 58 looks like on me--a few miles travelled, but many more to come! You did a fabulous job. on 12.13.08
